The ARTPLAST BA480 roof box adds 480 litres of lockable luggage space above the roofline. Its impact-resistant polypropylene shell carries a carbon-effect finish, and the supplied brackets fit crossbars at any spacing. Load capacity is 75 kg, with the box itself weighing 20 kg.
480 litres for the luggage that won't fit inside
At 200.5 cm long, the box swallows skis, snowboards, fishing rods, tents and long travel bags, while the 38 cm height leaves room for bulky soft luggage. Moving gear onto the roof frees the rear seats for passengers on family trips.
Key lock and aluminium locking axle
A front safety lock keeps the lid clamped along its full length, and the closing axle is made of aluminium. The reinforced nylon stay holds the lid open so you can load with both hands free.
Fits crossbars 18–30 mm thick
The 100% steel brackets clamp bars up to 80 mm wide and slide freely along the rails, covering all common bar spacings. Fitting is done by hand with the supplied U-bolts and nuts, with no drilling.
Impact- and UV-resistant polypropylene
The shell withstands year-round outdoor use — rain, sun and sub-zero temperatures — and cleans up with water and car shampoo alone. It is made in Italy from recycled plastic in line with REACH.
