Ready-to-fit in-line protection for 12 V vehicle wiring.
This in-line fuse holder comes with an 8 A ceramic torpedo fuse and is wired straight into the cable run to protect add-on equipment in a car, trailer or boat. The fuse is included, so the part is ready to fit out of the box.
Protection for retrofitted electrics
The holder is wired in series with the positive lead of an accessory such as a work lamp, compressor, audio unit or radio. In case of overload or a short circuit only the fuse blows, leaving the cable and the device intact.
Ceramic torpedo fuse included
Fuses with tapered metal ends of this type are found mainly in older European cars and motorcycles, as well as in trailers and agricultural machinery. Replacement is a matter of opening the housing by hand, with no tools needed.
