The OSRAM LEDriving SL C5W LED bulb, 36 mm long with a 6000 K colour temperature, replaces a conventional C5W festoon bulb with an SV8.5-8 base. It is typically used for number plate and interior lighting. The bulb has no ECE approval and is not permitted for exterior use on public roads.
Cool white 6000 K instead of yellowish halogen light
Nominal luminous flux is 68 lm in a cool white LED tone. The shade sits close to daytime running lights and modern LED headlamps, so cabin and plate lighting match the rest of the car visually.
SV8.5-8 base and 37 mm length for plug and play fitting
The bulb fits all standard 36 mm C5W holders, with an 11 mm body diameter. Replacement happens straight in the dome lamp or plate light housing, with no adapters and no extra wiring.

Operating voltage is 12 V, with a 13.5 V test voltage. The lighter load on the electrical system helps when interior lighting stays on often or when the vehicle runs a small battery.
