The Philips VisionPlus H4 (12342VPB1) is a 12 V halogen headlight bulb rated 60/55 W with an H4 (P43t-38) base for low beam, high beam and front fog lights. It delivers 1650 lm at a colour temperature of up to 3250 K and a service life of up to 400 hours. Supplied as a single bulb.
25 m longer beam spots obstacles earlier
Road signs and obstacles are recognised sooner, and braking distance at 100 km/h drops by up to 3 metres according to the manufacturer. The 1650 lm output stays within ECE homologation, so the bulb is street-legal.
UV-coated quartz glass resists thermal shock
The filament runs at 2650 °C while the bulb glass takes 800 °C and survives cold water hitting a hot surface — useful if you drive through water with a damaged headlight unit. The anti-UV coating shields the headlight's plastics and reflector from ultraviolet radiation.
H4 (P43t-38) base for low beam, high beam and front fog
The dual-filament 60/55 W design covers all three functions in one envelope and drops straight into a factory H4 socket on a 12 V electrical system. Philips recommends replacing bulbs in pairs so both headlights match in intensity and beam pattern.
