The Philips Standard Premium W5W car bulb is a conventional 12 V / 5 W lamp with a wedge W2,1x9,5d base, supplied as a 2-pack blister. It covers position lights, stop lights, side indicators, licence plate, cabin, boot and glovebox lighting.
One bulb for position, stop and interior lights
W5W is one of the most widely fitted designations in passenger cars, so a single blister can serve several positions at once. Philips lists it for position and stop lights, side indicators, licence plate, cabin, door, boot, glovebox and reading lights.
1500-hour life and ECE homologation
The bulb is approved to ECE requirements, which makes it road-legal across Europe. Production of the range is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
W2,1x9,5d wedge base fits without tools
The glass wedge base pushes straight into the socket and can be replaced in place, without removing the lamp unit on most cars. The two bulbs in the pack let you refresh a pair at the same time so both sides match in brightness.
