The BOSCH W5W car bulb is a 5 W, 12 V wedge-base lamp for parking lights, licence-plate lighting, dashboard illumination and interior lights. Each pack holds 2 bulbs with the common W2.1x9.5d glass base fitted to most passenger cars.
W2.1x9.5d base for a direct swap
The bulb pushes straight into its holder — no bayonet pin, no screw thread — so a roadside replacement is usually possible without removing the headlamp. W5W is an international designation, so compatibility comes down to the base type listed in your owner's manual.
5 W at 12 V for markers and interior light
