BOSCH H4 Car Headlight Bulb 12V 60/55W
Dual-filament halogen bulb covering both high and low beam from a single headlight unit.
The BOSCH H4 headlight bulb runs on 12 V and delivers 60/55 W, making it the standard replacement for any headlamp built around the H4 base. Supplied as a single bulb, article 471838 at Praktiker.
H4 base for direct replacement
The bulb drops into any headlamp designed for this base, with no adapters or rewiring. Check the marking on the old bulb or the vehicle manual before buying.
60/55 W dual filament for high and low beam
One filament handles main beam, the other dipped beam, switched from the column stalk. Power comes from the standard 12 V passenger-car electrical system.
Replace in pairs for even light output
Change both headlamp bulbs at the same time, as halogen filaments lose output with age. Handle the glass with a cloth only, since skin oils shorten bulb life.
