H4 Car Bulb 55W, 12V, P43T Base
H4 halogen bulb for low and high beam on 12 V vehicle systems.
This H4 55W 12V car bulb with a P43T base (item 145770) is made for headlight units on vehicles with a 12 V electrical system. It comes as a single bulb, so you replace only the side that has failed.
H4 (P43T) base fits standard headlight housings
The three locating tabs on the base seat the filaments in exactly the position the reflector was designed for. Check the H4 marking on the old bulb or in your owner's manual before buying.
Two beams from a single bulb
The H4 design carries two filaments in one glass envelope, one for low beam and one for high beam. Replacing both sides at the same time keeps the light output even on the left and right.
Fit it without touching the glass
Handle the bulb with clean gloves or through a tissue, because fingerprints on the quartz glass overheat locally and shorten its life. Check headlight aim once the new bulb is in.
