The STIHL ASA 20 cordless pruning shears run on an AS 2 battery from the STIHL AS System and come complete with battery and charger. At 0.800 kg with the battery fitted, they handle branches up to 25 mm in diameter on vines, fruit trees, shrubs and ornamentals.

Cuts up to 25 mm without hand strain

The motor supplies the force that a manual secateur takes from your hand — decisive when a vineyard or orchard means hundreds of cuts a day. Average cutting rate is up to 12 cuts per minute.

Two selectable blade opening widths

On thin shoots the narrower setting shortens the blade travel and speeds up repetitive work, while the full opening is kept for thicker wood. Switching is done on the tool itself, with no extra key needed.

OLED display for charge level and settings

The screen shows battery charge and the selected opening width, so an interruption mid-row can be anticipated. Readings stay legible in direct sunlight.

Progressive cutting — the blade follows your finger

The trigger governs blade travel progressively rather than as a simple on/off action, letting you stop just short of a neighbouring bud or a trellis wire. Closing is fast and the cut is clean.

Kit with AS 2 battery and AL 1 charger

The kit is ready to work straight from the box and includes a blade guard and a maintenance tool. The battery also powers the other machines in the STIHL AS System.
