Cordless pruning saw

Bosch Professional GKE 18V-15 Cordless Brushless Pruning Saw, 18 V, 15 cm Bar, Bare Tool

A compact pruning saw with gyro-sensor kickback detection and tool-free chain tensioning

The Bosch Professional GKE 18V-15 cordless pruning saw handles pruning, limbing and DIY cuts in wood up to 13 cm in diameter. Supplied as a bare tool, it runs on any battery from the Bosch Professional 18V System and the multi-brand AMPShare platform.

Brushless motor that keeps cutting under load

The motor holds its power through thicker branches instead of stalling at the first sign of resistance. Chain speed reaches 7.2 m/s, and the variable-speed trigger lets you start each cut under control. Bosch rates the saw at up to 350 cuts per battery charge.

Gyro sensor for kickback control

The sensor monitors every movement of the saw and triggers the chain brake the moment it detects kickback. That matters most when cutting overhead or inside a dense canopy, where a branch can suddenly pinch the bar.

Light and compact for tight spots

At around 1.8 kg, the saw is easy to steer one-handed between close-set branches, inside hedges or up a ladder. The 15 cm bar cuts branches up to 13 cm thick, so there is no need to haul out a full-size chainsaw.

Automatic oiling and tool-free chain changes

A 50 ml oil tank keeps the chain lubricated throughout the job. The Oregon chain is tensioned and replaced with a simple knob, with no spanner needed.

Runs on Bosch Professional 18V and AMPShare batteries

The saw takes any battery from the Bosch Professional 18V System and from the multi-brand AMPShare alliance. Bosch recommends a pack of at least 4.0 Ah. Battery and charger are sold separately.
