The BOSCH Professional GDS 18V-1600 is a top-class 3/4" cordless impact wrench with BITURBO brushless technology, built for heavy-duty professional work. It delivers up to 1600 Nm of tightening torque and up to 2200 Nm of breakaway torque, handling metal joints from M16 to M33 in structural steel, pipe fitting and industrial machinery maintenance. Supplied without battery and charger, it runs on the Bosch Professional 18V system.
1600 Nm for the most stubborn bolts
BITURBO brushless technology on the GDS 18V-1600 combines corded-level power with cordless freedom. Up to 1600 Nm tightening and 2200 Nm breakaway torque conquer even rusted or seized joints where ordinary wrenches give up.
3 speeds for precise torque control
Three switchable torque levels let you match power to the job, from gentle tightening to maximum drive. This lets the BOSCH GDS 18V-1600 protect more delicate joints from over-tightening and damage.
3/4" square drive for industrial sockets
The tool's 3/4" square drive accepts the heavy-duty sockets standard in steel construction and machine assembly. Auto Bolt Release (ABR) mode stops on loosening so nuts and bolts are not dropped or lost.
Part of the Bosch Professional 18V system
The GDS 18V-1600 ships without battery and charger and is optimised for ProCORE18V packs from the Bosch Professional 18V system. If you already own batteries from the system, you can start working straight away with no extra outlay.
