A 160 mm short body that reaches inside cabinets, corners and overhead.
The DEWALT DCD708D2T-QW cordless drill driver is a compact 18V XR tool with a brushless motor for drilling in wood and metal and for driving screws. It ships with two 2.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a TStak case, and is rated for professional use.
Brushless motor with 340 W output
With no carbon brushes, the main wearing part of the drivetrain is gone and battery efficiency rises. The motor delivers up to 65 Nm of torque for long screws in timber and fasteners in metal.
Two speeds: 0–450 and 0–1650 rpm
The low range gives control when driving and using hole saws, while the high range speeds up drilling to 30 mm in wood and 13 mm in metal. The keyless chuck takes 1.5–13 mm shanks, so standard bits and bit holders fit.
Compact 160 mm and 1.1 kg for installation work
The driver fits between drywall studs, inside furniture carcasses and cabinets where longer tools simply will not go. The low weight helps during long overhead sessions, and the built-in LED lights the drilling point in dark recesses.
Kit with two batteries, charger and TStak case
Two 18 V, 2.0 Ah batteries keep you working: one charges while the other is in the tool. The TStak case clips onto other boxes in the system so tools and consumables travel in one stack, and the batteries fit the rest of the DEWALT 18V XR platform.
