RheidonTech AC500 Wireless CT Clamp Power Consumption Sensor

Your EV charger eases off automatically when the household load rises.

The RheidonTech AC500 is a wireless CT clamp sensor for EV charging stations that measures the household's real-time power draw. When the set limit is reached, the charger reduces its output instead of tripping the main breaker. It clips around the incoming conductor inside the distribution board.

Dynamic load balancing in real time

The sensor tracks every consumer on the circuit and feeds the data to the charging station. With the oven, water heater and air conditioner all running, charging power is throttled automatically and picks back up as capacity frees.

Wireless link: no extra cabling to the charger

Data travels wirelessly, so the distribution board and the charger can sit in different parts of the property. The split-core clamp simply closes around the conductor without cutting into the wiring.

Built for RheidonTech charging stations

The accessory is designed to work with the brand's charging stations, including the wall-mounted WB500 series. Installation inside the distribution board should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
