EVPOINT C2C1ACDC CCS2 to CCS1 EV Charging Adapter, AC + DC, up to 250 kW

The EVPOINT C2C1ACDC adapter connects a vehicle with a CCS Combo 1 (CCS1) inlet to European CCS Combo 2 (CCS2) charge points. It works on DC fast chargers as well as on AC stations with a Type 2 plug, and a storage pouch is included.

Built for EVs imported from the USA and Canada

Cars with a US-market CCS1 inlet simply do not fit European charge points. The adapter sits between the station cable and the car socket and handles the communication between the two systems. The manufacturer lists compatibility with models such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6, Kia EV6, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron.

One adapter for both AC and DC charging

The operating range spans 230 to 1000 V, covering both everyday Type 2 wallboxes and high-voltage rapid chargers. Maximum current is 250 A, with power reaching 250 kW on DC.

IP54 protection and a -40 °C to 85 °C range

The housing is protected against dust and splashing water, and the declared temperature range covers winter and summer conditions on an open car park. The black plastic body travels in the supplied pouch, which shields it from knocks in the boot.
