CERLAND Y-Type Post Base, 7 x 7 x 30 cm
A concrete-set steel anchor that keeps the wooden post clear of the ground and away from moisture.
The CERLAND Y-type post base is the link between a 7 x 7 cm wooden post and its concrete footing. The U-shaped seat wraps the post on three sides, while the 30 cm anchor leg is set in concrete. It is used for fences, screening panels and light garden structures.
Seat sized for 7 x 7 cm posts
The base matches the standard CERLAND posts with Y-type grooving used at corner and junction positions in a fence line. The post is fixed inside the fork through the side holes, so it stays put under wind load.
30 cm anchor leg for concreting
Installation is done with rapid-set concrete in the hole dug for each post. Once cured, the timber sits entirely above ground level and out of soil moisture, the main cause of rot at the post foot.
Galvanised steel for outdoor use
The coating protects the steel against corrosion in constant contact with rain and soil. At 0.900 kg the anchor is substantial enough for fence panels and pergolas, yet needs no special tools to fit.
