CERLAND H Post Anchor for 12x12 cm Posts, Galvanised Steel, 60x12x12 cm
Set in concrete, it holds the timber post clear of the ground and away from moisture.
The CERLAND H post anchor is a galvanised steel support for timber posts with a 12x12 cm section. The lower part is set in concrete while the upper H-shaped fork clamps the post and lifts it above ground level. It is used when erecting carports, pergolas, shelters and fences.
Galvanised steel built for outdoor use
The zinc coating protects the anchor from corrosion under constant exposure to rain, snow and ground moisture. The steel body takes both the weight and the lateral loads of the timber structure.
Post stands clear of the ground, so damp cannot wick in
The fork raises the timber above the concrete and breaks direct contact with the damp base. The foot of the post stays dry, which slows down rot on pergolas, carports and fences.
60 cm height for a deep concrete footing
Half of the length sits in the concrete footing, giving a solid lever arm against rocking and wind. The holes in the side plates are used to bolt or screw the post in place.
