The 2 m fence post without a mounting plate (model 19141) is the load-bearing element of a panel or mesh fence. With no base plate, the lower end is set in concrete, and the 2 m length leaves room for both the footing and the fence itself above ground level.
Set in concrete, no anchor plate needed
The lower end of the post is buried and fixed with concrete, the usual method on soil and grass where no concrete base exists. The post measures 2 m and weighs 3.7 kg, so one person can carry and position it.
2 m height for a full-size garden fence
Part of the length stays in the concrete footing, which makes the post suitable for panels and mesh up to roughly 1.5 m above ground. Spacing between posts follows the panel length or the tensioning of the mesh.
