POLARGOS Somfy Photocell Kit for Gate Automation, 8 m Range, IP 44
Stops the gate the moment anything crosses the beam between the two units.
The POLARGOS Somfy photocell kit is the safety element you add to a sliding or swing gate drive. The two units are mounted opposite each other at the entrance and signal the controller as soon as the beam is broken by a car, a person or an animal.
Up to 8 m between transmitter and receiver
That distance covers standard yard and garage entrances, including double-leaf gates. Each unit measures just 107 x 43 x 26 mm and mounts on a post, a pillar or the fence itself.
NO and NC outputs for different controllers
The contact is rated at 1 A, so it wires straight into the safety terminals of most control boards. The supply cable is HO5 RR-F 2x0.75 mm² type.
IP 44 protection and −20 to +60 °C operation
The housings are made for outdoor installation exposed to rain, dust and year-round temperature swings, so the photocells keep working through the winter months.
