TFA Dostmann 40.2004 Floating Pool & Pond Thermometer with Attachment Cord
Analogue liquid-filled gauge that reads water temperature with no batteries and no mercury.
The TFA Dostmann 40.2004 floating thermometer shows the water temperature in pools, inflatable hot tubs and garden ponds. It floats upright on the surface and comes with a cord so it stays within reach of the edge. The plastic body measures 24 x 24 x 160 mm and weighs just 32 g.
No batteries, no electronics
Readings come from a coloured thermometric liquid in the capillary, the long-standing replacement for mercury. The gauge works straight out of the box and can stay in the water all season.
Attachment cord keeps it by the edge
The 530 mm cord ties to a ladder, pool wall or pond stake. The thermometer will not drift to the middle of the water and can be pulled out in one movement.
For pools, hot tubs and garden ponds alike
In a pond the water temperature guides fish feeding and the growth of aquatic plants. In a pool it tells you when heating is worth switching on.
