The Makita DGA506RTJ cordless angle grinder runs on the 18V LXT platform and a 125 mm disc for cutting, grinding and cleaning metal, masonry and welds. The kit ships with two 5.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a MakPac case so you can start working straight away. Its brushless motor spins at 8,500 rpm for performance close to a corded tool.
Brushless motor for more work per charge
The brushless motor in the Makita DGA506RTJ wastes less energy on heat and friction, extending both runtime per charge and tool life. At 8,500 rpm the grinder holds its power through long grinding sessions without fading.
Electric brake and restart protection
An electric brake stops the disc quickly once you release the switch, so you can move on to the next task safely. Restart protection stops the DGA506RTJ from starting on its own after a battery is fitted or power returns.
Complete kit with two batteries and case
The DGA506RTJ kit includes two 18V 5.0 Ah batteries and a fast charger — work with one while the other charges. Everything stores in a MakPac case for tidy transport and protection.
Compatible with the whole 18V LXT system
The Makita DGA506RTJ batteries belong to the 18V LXT system that powers over 275 tools in the range. If you already own LXT packs, you can use them with this grinder without any adapter.
