Supplied as a bare tool without battery or charger, so you pair it with packs you already own.
Brushless motor for longer life
The brushless motor in the DeWALT DCG409VSN-XJ runs without carbon brushes, cutting friction and wear. The result is a longer service life and better efficiency per charge. This grinder is built for daily professional use.
Variable speed 3000–9000 rpm
Variable speed control lets you match the rpm to the material and disc. Lower speeds suit polishing and delicate tasks, while higher speeds handle fast cutting and heavy grinding. One grinder covers a wide range of jobs.
Kickback Brake and E-Clutch for safety
The Kickback Brake on the DCG409VSN-XJ stops the wheel almost instantly on a pinch or trigger release. The anti-rotation E-Clutch shuts down the motor when a stall is detected, reducing kickback risk. This grinder belongs to the DeWALT Perform & Protect range for greater control.
FlexVolt Advantage for more power
With FlexVolt Advantage technology, the grinder detects a FlexVolt 54V battery and steps up its output significantly. This lets the DCG409VSN-XJ deliver performance comparable to a 1550 W corded tool. It also runs on standard DeWALT XR 18V packs.
125 mm disc with M14 spindle
The M14 threaded spindle accepts standard 125 mm discs for cutting, grinding and cleaning metal. It fits a wide range of flap, cut-off and grinding wheels. An adjustable side handle is included for steadier guidance.
