Aluminium frame with hinges and a latch, cut and assembled to your own window opening.
The VEKTOR NEW LINE window insect screen kit contains everything needed to build a hinged aluminium screen with outer frame dimensions of up to 200 cm in height and 100 cm in width. The profiles are cut to match your exact window, and the mesh is fixed with a rubber gasket using the included installation roller.
17x25 mm aluminium profiles cut to your window
Six profiles are supplied and assembled into a frame with corner connectors and two profile joiners. They are cut with a hacksaw, so one kit covers any window within the maximum dimensions.
Four corner reinforcements for a rigid frame
The reinforcements sit in the corners in addition to the connectors and keep the frame square at greater heights. All hardware is black: corner connectors, joiners, hinges, latch and handle.
Hinges, latch and inner handle for a hinged screen
The screen mounts as a hinged leaf that closes with a snap latch, while the handle stays on the room side. The glass can be cleaned without removing the frame.
Grey mesh with rubber gasket and fitting roller
The mesh is pressed into the profile channel with 6 m of rubber gasket, seated using the included roller. The excess mesh is trimmed with a utility knife once the gasket is in.
Measuring and assembly instructions on the pack
The back of the pack covers measuring, assembly and installation. You will need a tape measure, pencil, hacksaw, rubber mallet, screwdriver or drill-driver, utility knife and a file, none of which are included.
