Firm bonding of thermal insulation boards without thermal bridges.
TKK PU FIX INSULATION ADHESIVE is a one-component, low-expansion polyurethane foam adhesive for bonding thermal insulation boards to walls, facades and foundations. This hand-held 750 ml aerosol version is applied with a mounting adapter and cures with air humidity. It suits EPS and XPS styrofoam, mineral (stone) wool boards, and also fills the joints between panels.
Bonds insulation boards to walls and facades
TKK PU FIX INSULATION ADHESIVE bonds styrofoam and stone wool insulation boards to masonry, concrete and other building surfaces. The low-expansion foam also fills the joints between panels, so you need no separate product on site.
Strong adhesion to EPS, XPS, stone wool, concrete and OSB
The adhesive grips reliably on EPS and XPS styrofoam, mineral wool, concrete, brick, OSB boards and wood. This versatility makes TKK PU FIX handy across a whole facade job, with no product change between substrates.
Fast curing for quicker finishing
The foam stops being tacky roughly 6–12 minutes after application, and full cure follows within 1–2 hours depending on temperature and humidity. You can adjust a board's position for up to 15 minutes after placement, making precise alignment easy.
Extra thermal insulation without thermal bridges
A layer of polyurethane adhesive under the board adds its own thermal insulation and reduces thermal bridges — a common cause of heat loss, condensation and mould. TKK PU FIX INSULATION ADHESIVE is also ageing-resistant for a long facade life.
Hand-held application with a mounting adapter
This hand-held version is applied with a mounting adapter, giving precise dosing and economical use without a gun. Lay the foam along the panel edges and in a W-pattern across the surface before pressing the board to the wall.
