BRADAS AQUA-DROP WADC1/220 Watering Ring with Valves, 1/2", 2 m

Water goes straight to the root ball of a young tree, with no soil washout.

The BRADAS AQUA-DROP WADC1/220 watering ring is laid around the trunk of a young tree or shrub and releases water slowly and evenly into the root zone. It measures 2 m and connects to the hose through a quick-connector nipple.

Delivery straight into the root ball, no geyser effect

Micropores along the whole length seep water at low pressure instead of shooting a jet. The soil around the trunk stays in place and moisture reaches the depth where the active roots are.

Two independent valves for flow control

The hand-operated taps let you feed only one half of the ring or cut the flow back in damper soil. Several trees on one hose line can therefore be watered at different rates.

Resin-reinforced rubber built for outdoor use

The material resists UV and outdoor temperatures, so the ring can stay in the garden all season. The inner wall is treated against algae build-up that would otherwise clog the pores.

Up to 70% less water used

Drip delivery cuts surface evaporation and run-off outside the root zone, which the manufacturer rates at up to 70% savings versus hose watering. Working pressure is low, up to 0.7 bar, so the ring also runs on gravity feed from a tank.
