Crystallising waterproofing slurry

CERESIT CR 90 Crystallising Waterproofing Slurry, 25 kg

Waterproofing by crystallisation — resistant to both positive and negative water pressure.

CERESIT CR 90 is a crystallising waterproofing slurry for concrete, reinforced concrete, fully jointed brickwork and mineral renders. It suits balconies, wet rooms, below-ground structures and cellar walls, septic tanks, water reservoirs (including drinking water) up to 15 m deep, fire tanks and monolithic pools up to 20 m². It comes as a 25 kg dry mix that is blended with water on site.

Crystallisation that seals the pores of concrete

CERESIT CR 90 forms a waterproofing layer on the substrate and, during service, grows crystals inside the pores of the concrete. The seal keeps densifying from within and stays effective long after application.

Resistant to positive and negative water pressure

CERESIT CR 90 can be applied on the positive-pressure side (up to 15 m deep) as well as the negative side (up to 5 m). That makes it ideal for reservoirs, cellars and below-ground structures where water pushes from either side.

Self-healing — bridges micro-cracks up to 0.4 mm

CERESIT CR 90 is self-healing and seals fine cracks in concrete up to 0.4 mm wide. The coating stays vapour-permeable and frost-resistant, so the substrate can breathe without losing its protection.

Apply with a brush or trowel

CERESIT CR 90 is mixed with clean cold water to a lump-free paste — 8 l for brush application or 6 l for trowel application per 25 kg bag. Apply the first coat crosswise by brush onto a damp substrate, then the second by brush or trowel.
