The NIGRIN PERFORMANCE glass fibre mat 0.5 m² is the load-bearing reinforcement for repairs on car bodies, motorcycle fairings, caravans and boats. Applied with polyester resin and hardener, it bonds firmly to metal, plastic, wood and many other substrates.
Dense weave for large damage and vibrating parts
The mat is made for rebuilding holes, cracks and larger deformations, including on components exposed to heavy vibration. Building up several layers increases the load capacity of the repair.
Bonds to metal, plastic and wood
Reliable adhesion allows work on car bodies, motorcycle fairings, caravans, boats, model building and custom conversions. The carrier also takes shaping when the damaged area has to be modelled anew.
Six-step application, roughly 30 minutes drying
Derust, degrease and sand the surface, cut the mat with an overlap, then brush on the resin-hardener mix free of air bubbles. Once dry, refine the surface or fill it directly with body filler.
